The SANGO Off-Road version that was originally supplied with 15″ balloon drive Drive Tyres has now actually been discontinued, however the Standard Sango Advanced model is still available to order with large 16″ rear wheels, as shown in the main product image. The castor forks can be upgraded to have suspension built-in to them, so soften the ride further.
9″ Pneumatic Castor Wheels, High rated 120A power module to cope with maximum power and fun operation. The suspension is handled by rubber elastomers instead of more complex gas struts (that can tend to need more regular maintenance). The properties of the rubber provide comfort as it absorbs road vibrations bigger bumps when out and about. The chair can be arranged in either the Front-Wheel-Drive version for being able to plough through rough terrain with high manoeuvrability, or Rear-Wheel-Drive for a still great Off-Road Powerchair experience, but with a more traditional steering feel.
60Ah batteries allow a good range of driving, or if very high capacity powered wheelchair batteries are what you really want, to be able to travel for days between charges, then there is even a 100Ah battery option. Powered features for this type of configurable electric wheelchair are available, such as seat lift and seat tilt, to allow adjustment when required throughout the day.

The finished product can still be readjusted at any point in timer if required, such as if the user’s needs change, or simply because they want a different colour of shrouds! Where there is a need for a solution that can’t be catered for using the standard options, Dietz will create individual items by using their materials combined with options from other sources.
