It is possible to alter the barrel of this brake to convert it into a reverse-facing barrel, however, the design of the barrel means that some washers and longer bolts are required to carry out the conversion. Contact us about your requirements if you do need that configuration. We can also supply the ‘Quickie’ brand of EVO compact brakes that can be supplied as Front or Rear facing barrel.
The brake barrel is the standard 19mm (3/4″) cylindrical shape. The Barrel is clamped upmost and the mechanism is below, so the image shown in the main photo is a Right-Hand brake. We also hold stock of 3/4″ to 1″ Brake clamps to mount the brakes to a wheelchair frame. And also 3/4″ to 1 1/4″ clamps. 3/4″ to 3/4″ clamps, and 3/4″ to 7/8″ clamps are available on special request with a longer lead-time
